We currently has an opening for a Senior Mortgage Loan Originator.  This is a full-time/non-exempt position and primarily commission-based.   The person hired may work from any of our available branches. 


The incumbent Originates mortgage files and assists with processing and underwriting conditions when necessary.


  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of mortgage lending and originating.
  • Experience with Automated Underwriting Systems.
  • Familiar with all mortgage compliance laws (RESPA, HMDA, REGZ, etc).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to handle difficult customer situations.
  • Ability to proficiently use a computer with knowledge of Windows based software.
  • Ability to review appraisals.
  • Detailed oriented and well organized.
  • Demonstrate a high level of knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act and OFAC related responsibilities in the performance of daily operations to ensure adherence to bank policies and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
