Overview

The position is responsible for administration of security-related systems and vendors utilized by the department and bankwide. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining the bank-wide BCP and assisting branches with the periodic updates. Additionally, this position will act as the support person for the Compliance/Security Department.

Responsibilities

  • Performs all functions necessary, within scope of authority and expertise, to provide the highest level of customer service and responsiveness to the financial needs of diverse individuals, families, businesses and organizations served by the Bank.
  • Acts as Security Administrator for card access systems, alarms, and DVRs that are utilized throughout the organization. This includes key access for the Corporate location.
  • Coordinates and assists branches with quarterly and yearly updates to the bank’s Business Continuity Plan
  • Responds to inquiries from the branches regarding regulatory compliance signage, robbery kits, and other security equipment.
  • Acts as Administrator for computer-based training for employees bank-wide.
  • Corresponds with and processes invoices for the vendors used by the department.
  • Acts as Back-up for reviews of daily Fraud Detective software reports to detect potential suspicious activity, researches accounts and escalates to management as necessary
  • Maintains supplies (both administrative and compliance/security-related).
  • Perform additional job duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent education certificate (GED)
  • College degree or equivalent work experience, required
  • 1+ years job-related experience, required
  • Ability to travel occasionally, required
  • 2+ years banking or security industry experience, preferred
  • Computer proficiency with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications, required
  • Excellent documentation and writing skills
  • Must have reliable attendance
  • Must be able to work assigned work schedule
  • Ability to adapt to changing work environment
  • Careful attention to detail and time management
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong team player
  • Demonstrate a high level of knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act and OFAC related responsibilities in the performance of daily operations to ensure adherence to bank policies and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
