Overview

The purpose of this position is to balance all daily deposits and transactions processed and captured by our branches, remote deposit customers, mobile deposit customers and image cash letters received. This is a full-time position with benefits. The anticipated hours for this position are Monday-Friday 10AM-7PM.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily Item Research and Adjustment requests made by the FED, TIB, and the branch locations
  • Perform statement and check research for customers and law enforcement agencies
  • Updating customer information including address changes
  • Create and Transmit daily cash letters
  • Export daily totals from the check processing application to the core banking system
  • Provide service to customers/employees as needed for core, check imaging, electronic banking, etc.
  • Adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures to ensure the safety and security of customer and bank assets
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Perform other job related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Graduate or equivalent education certificate (GED)
  • Previous experience with bank proof operations or item processing, preferred
  • Strong keyboarding experience, required
  • Possess ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Must be comfortable working in a high call volume environment
  • Computer proficiency with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications, preferred

  • Must be able to work during branch hours of operation
  • Excellent customer service skills are essential
  • Ability to adapt to changing work environment
  • Careful attention to detail and time management skills are essential
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required
  • Demonstrate general knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act and OFAC related responsibilities in the performance of daily operations to ensure adherence to bank policies and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
