    The Warehouse Credit Analyst will analyze financial information and assess the risk of offering credit to mortgage banking entities.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage the renewal process for all current warehouse customers
    • Spread company financial statements
    • Research, examine, and quantify the degree of credit risk involved in a credit
    • Prepare written credit-approval packages for approval presentation
    • Test quarterly financial covenants
    • Manage the investor approval process
    • Preparation of the quarterly minutes for the Warehouse Oversight Committee
    • Be present for calls with prospects/customers

    Qualifications

    • Business degree with focus in finance or accounting
    • Theoretical understanding of how financial statements are prepared
    • Practical understanding of how journal entries/transactions would affect each of the financial statements
    • Ability to prepare a written summary based on financial analysis
    • Excellent writing and communicating skills
    • Basic skills required in Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Must have a desire to continually learn
    • A basic understanding of the mortgage industry
    • Ability to learn in a fast paced environment
    • Ability to be coached and mentored with a variety of teaching styles
    • Must have competency to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines     
    • Demonstrate general knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act and OFAC related responsibilities in the performance of daily operations to ensure adherence to bank policies and compliance with all regulatory requirements
