The BSA II- Foreign Risk Specialist will primarily be responsible to assist with daily tasks to insure the Bank is in compliance with all BSA related regulatory requirements and laws in regards to foreign entities, foreign individuals, and OFAC compliance. The Foreign Risk Specialist will also support special projects under the guidance of the BSA Supervisor and BSA/Compliance Officer.
The BSA II- Foreign Risk Specialist assists in the implementation and administration of all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act program and assists with various assignments supporting the Compliance Program of the Bank, under the guidance of the BSA Supervisor and BSA/Compliance Officer. This position performs various monitoring pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, Anti-Money Laundering Program, OFAC, Customer Identification Program and Customer Due Diligence Program (Beneficial Ownership) compliance using industry standard and regulatory guidance to ensure the Bank’s compliance efforts are maintained on a daily basis. Assists the BSA/Compliance Officer and management in other areas of the Bank in ensuring department activities run smoothly and efficiently. The position of Foreign Risk Specialist is required to be fully knowledgeable and skilled in all areas of BSA compliance.
The position requires a strong work ethic, the ability to prioritize and adapt to changing deadlines, advanced interpersonal skills, excellent communication, and the desire to work as a team to support the overall success of the Bank. The position also requires continuous exercise of judgment following broad guidelines. Ability to Identify and select complex choices of action where standard practices may not exist. Must be able to accommodate detailed work, problem solving, reasoning, presentations, analytical reasoning, training others and multiple concurrent tasks.
