  • Overview

    The Mortgage Production Lead is responsible for recruiting, hiring and managing the  Mortgage Loan Originators and any support staff in their area.  This position is also responsible for marketing the Mortgage Department's products and services; promoting the image of the Bank in the communities it serves, coordinating projects and training.      


    • Hires, trains, mentors, and manages Mortgage Loan Originators
    • Communicates Mtg. Division goals and objectives to MLO’s
    • Assess marketing and advertising needs for their area
    • Ensures licensing and compliance requirements for MLO’s are met
    • Coordinates calendar of events for their team


    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
    • 3-5 years of experience in Mortgage Loan Origination, required
    • Must have extensive Loan Origination knowledge
    • Proficient in reading the bond market with regards to rate movements
    • Sales experience, required
    • Registered in NMLS System
    • Demonstrate general knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act and OFAC related responsibilities in the performance of daily operations to ensure adherence to bank policies and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
