  • Overview

    Responsible for recruiting, hiring and managing the Colorado Mortgage Loan Originators and staff. Responsible for marketing the Colorado mortgage products and services; promoting the image of the Bank in the communities it serves, coordinating projects and training the mortgage sales force.

    Responsibilities

    • Supervises Mortgage Loan Originators
    • Oversees marketing for Colorado Mortgage Division
    • Originates residential mortgage loans
    • Sets production goals for MLO’s
    • Manages MLO’s time cards
    • Develops, defines and executes marketing strategies to take advantage of the opportunities identified in Realtor/Builder community
    • Develops and implements communication plans internally for the internal organization, and externally for customers.
    • Oversees creation and implementation of branch promotions and other related marketing strategies along with the Banking Center MLO’s.
    • Manages Colorado Mortgage Division visibility and recognition in the community
    • Evaluates and processes all marketing requests from MLO’s
    • Manages or supports all Event Planning functions for the Colorado Mortgage Division both internally and externally as requested.
    • Continues to focus on Business Development for the Colorado Mortgage Division in the community
    • Coordinates direct marketing campaigns.
    • Oversees the signage (yard signs, lobby signs, event banners) for the Colorado Mortgage Division.
    • May assist in training new employees and answer co-worker questions.
    • Completes compliance and other job related training as required.
    • Refers unusual or suspicious activities or transactions to the BSA officer immediately
    • Follow CIP and Know Your Customer guidelines in identifying customers.
    • Complies with all department and bank policies and procedures and maintains compliance with State and Federal Regulations.
    • Contributes to the fulfillment of the department and the bank objectives and goals.
    • Performs as a team member, and completes any other job-related duties as assigned.
    • Involved with Marketing Department concerning the training of employees regarding Bank promotions, programs, services, compliance regulations, etc. Supervises the Colorado Mortgage Team and performs employee evaluations.
    • Frequent contact with marketing vendors and community professionals regarding events and solicitation of business. Frequent contact with personnel throughout the Bank.

    Qualifications

    • College degree or equivalent work experience with emphasis in Business is required.
    • Must have at least five years mortgage origination experience. Extensive knowledge of mortgage operations preferable.

    • Handling frequent interruptions and distractions
    • Demonstrate a high level of knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act and OFAC related responsibilities in the performance of daily operations to ensure adherence to bank policies and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
