    The purpose of this position is to review consumer loan files and single family real estate loan files to ensure compliance with all applicable bank and regulatory policies and procedures. The Loan Services Auditor I will also assist with clerical functions within the department.




    • Review collateral files to ensure that established standards are met, including compliance with federal regulations and adherence to Bank lending policy as well as ensuring that the Bank’s security interest is established and our lien position is upheld.
    • Communicate with loan officers and lending assistants to provide guidance on the correct way to document loan files and remedy existing issues.
    • Pull files and note jackets as requested. 
    • Log in and distribute incoming files to be audited.
    • Assist management in the preparation for and during audits and exams.
    • Receive items to clear exceptions, update tracking; correspond with lending staff regarding clearing of exceptions
    • Routinely update tickler items as documents are received.
    • Assist lending staff with questions regarding exceptions.
    • Other job related duties as assigned


    • High school graduate or equivalent education certificate (GED)
    • 2+ years of experience in collateral/post closing review department
    • Prior Experience a loan department, preferred
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
    • Should be self-motivated, detail oriented and able to take direction
    • Professional demeanor, cooperative attitude, excellent organizational, analytical, verbal and written communication skills a must.
    • Time management skills are essential
    • Demonstrate general knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act and OFAC related responsibilities in the performance of daily operations to ensure adherence to bank policies and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
