    The purpose of the Branch Services Manager is to manage all aspects of branch operations including customer satisfaction, compliance with bank policies and procedures, and adherence to all bank objectives in order to effectively serve customers while increasing the Bank’s market share.  This position will also have responsibility for retaining and expanding customer relationships, soliciting new retail business from existing and prospective customers, managing a deposit portfolio, and potentially facilitate small loan requests.  

    Responsibilities

    • Manage the operations and personnel of the branch teller line and new account areas
    • Manage the operational expenses of the branch
    • Approve large teller transactions
    • Participate in weekday and Saturday work rotations which include opening and closing the branch
    • Open new accounts as needed
    • Facilitate branch meetings for delivery of vital operational information
    • Exercise administrative control over all functions of the branch including audit and compliance, staffing, employee coaching and motivation
    • Liaison for tellers with regard to operational guidelines and banking regulations
    • Responds to a variety of customer inquiries/issues (e.g. account balance discrepancies, etc.)
    • Actively participate in community programs and activities to promote the Bank and generate new customer relationships
    • Adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures to ensure the safety and security of customer and bank assets
    • Facilitate small loan requests when needed
    • Occasional lifting and maneuvering of coins up to 25lbs may be required
    • Perform other job related duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent education certification (GED)
    • College degree in a related field, preferred
    • 3+ years banking experience with emphasis on branch operations, required
    • 2+ years management experience, required
    • Previous experience in consumer lending, preferred
    • Working knowledge of Silverlake system, preferred
    • Computer proficiency with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications, required
    • Ability to work flexible hours and branch hours of operation
    • Sales aptitude is necessary
    • Careful attention to detail and time management are essential
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, required
    • Strong team player
    • Demonstrate a high level of knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act and OFAC related responsibilities in the performance of daily operations to ensure adherence to bank policies and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
