    Overview

    The Director of Branch Administration position is responsible for the oversight of policies, procedures, systems, and support issues related to retail banking operations. This includes implementation and ongoing support of products, procedures, and systems utilized throughout the branch network.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversight of branch audits, internal controls, and evaluating the effectiveness of branches through analysis of audit findings, branch activity reports, and scorecards.
    • Periodically review, update and create policies and procedures as needed to address audit and operational deficiencies, standardize branch procedures, and gain efficiencies.
    • Exercise the usual authority of a manager concerning staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations, and employee relations/development.
    • Participate in monthly management meetings and be prepared to discuss industry trends, new initiatives, regulatory changes and various other topics related to branch operations.
    • Keep various levels of management abreast of all operational issues that impact the branches and support departments.
    • Facilitate monthly meetings with the Retail Operations Managers and Branch Administration teams to disseminate vital information.
    • Prioritize daily work and projects to meet deadlines with the utmost accuracy while handling multiple interruptions throughout the day.
    • Work with management, various departments, and branch personnel on product development, training, and ongoing support of deposit products.
    • Work with branch personnel, various departments, and vendors to solve detailed and complex operational issues, product changes, conversions, and programs that impact bank operations.
    • Supervise, train, develop, communicate with, and motivate operations staff and management.
    • Other job related duties as may be assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor degree in business, finance, or accounting required
    • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in branch operations required
    • Minimum of  5+ years management experience required
    • Must possess strong written and oral communication skills
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point).
    • Ability to manage, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks
    • Ability to work independently
    • Must be able to present and discuss new ideas and organizational change in a constructive and non confrontational manner in order to gain support by others
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Demonstrate a high level of knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act and OFAC related responsibilities in the performance of daily operations to ensure adherence to bank policies and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
