    Overview

    This position is responsible for providing internal and external customer service for debit card related issues.

    Responsibilities

    • Process debit card orders
    • Perform routine debit card maintenance, address changes, etc.
    • Maintain monthly reissue for expiring cards
    • Print and review various debit card reports for fraud monitoring
    • Attend online FICO seminars as requested
    • Research and initiate “Reg E” disputes when appropriate, including the completion of all necessary documents and affidavits, as well as posting entries
    • Take action on Risk Office Alerts
    • Research debit card activity
    • Provide support to the branches by phone and email on debit card related issues
    • Maintain logs related to debit card items
    • Verify daily card order report
    • Verify daily RCM file
    • Process MasterCard alerts in a timely manner
    • Serve as backup for daily ATM Balancing Entries
    • Work with data center and/or third party vendors to resolve system issues in a timely manner
    • Other job related duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • High School Graduate or equivalent education certificate (GED)
    • 1+ years of experience working with debit cards preferred
    • Previous customer service experience preferred
    • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook) Required
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Pleasant telephone manner
    • Knowledge of bank regulations
    • Must possess problem solving skills, task organizational skills and a high level of initiative
    • Ability to perform in a fast paced environment
    • Demonstrate a high level of knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act and OFAC related responsibilities in the performance of daily operations to ensure adherence to bank policies and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
